MAURITIUS, 3B8. Eric, OE4AAC is QRV as 3B8HD from Flic-en-Flac
beach until March 1. Activity is holiday style on the HF bands.

FIJI, 3D2. Hardy, DF6PW will be QRV as 3D2PW from Mango Bay, IOTA
OC-016, from February 13 to 19. Activity will be holiday style
mostly on 30, 17 and 12 meters using CW. QSL direct to home call.
GUINEA, 3X. Members of the Italian DXpedition Team will be QRV as
3XY1T from Los Island, IOTA AF-051, from February 18 to March 4.
Activity will be on the HF bands. QSL via I2YSB.
ALGERIA, 7X. Members of the Algerian Amateur Radio Union will be
QRV as 7V7WRD on February 13 while celebrating World Radio Day. QSL
via 7X2VB.
MALTA, 9H. Mark, K0MDJ is QRV as 9H3DJ until June 1 while on a
business trip. Activity is in his spare time using mostly SSB on 17
meters. QSL to home call.
CHINA, BY. Zhao, BD7IHN will be QRV as B7/BD7IHN from Nan Ao
Island, IOTA AS-129, from February 13 to 19. Activity will be on 20
and 30 meters using mainly CW with some SSB mostly during his
morning and early evening hours. QSL to home call.
THE GAMBIA, C5. Alan, G4DJX is QRV as C5DX from Banjul and
Farafenni until February 19. Activity is on 40 to 10 meters using
CW and SSB. He hopes to attract students in Farafenni to Amateur

PHILIPPINES, DU. James, W4RS and Larry, N0QM plan to be QRV as DX3R
from Luzon Island, IOTA OC-042, for the CQ World Wide RTTY WPX
contest. QSL via operators’ instructions.
OGASAWARA, JD1. Nobuaki, JA0JHQ will be QRV as JD1BOW from
Ogasawara Island, AS-031, from February 13 to 22. Activity will be
on the HF bands with a focus on 160 meters using CW, and on 40 and
15 meters using RTTY and PSK31. QSL to home call.
MARIANA ISLANDS, KH0. Kit, JA1NVF and Esa, OH7WV are QRV as N0J
from Tinian Island, IOTA OC-086, until February 15 to draw attention
to the annual Tinian Hot Pepper Festival. Activity is on 80 to 10
meters using CW and SSB. QSL direct via JJ2VLY.
ST. MAARTEN, PJ7. Tom, AA9A will be QRV as PJ7AA from February 16
to March 12. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using CW and SSB.

POLAND, SP. Special event station HF2016HS is QRV until the end of
2016 to celebrate the 170th birthday of the Polish Nobel Laureate
Henryk Sienkiewicz and also the opening 509 years ago of a museum
honoring his memory. QSL via SQ8JCB.
UKRAINE, UR. Special event station EM20UASAV is QRV until February
28 to draw attention to the Antarctic station Akademik Vernadsky
that was founded 20 years ago. QSL direct via UT7UA.
ST. KITTS AND NEVIS, V4. Ted, K8AQM, will be QRV as V47TR from St.
Kitts, IOTA NA-104, from February 13 to 21. Activity will be
holiday style on 20 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. He will also be
looking for SKCC members. QSL to home call.
MONTSERRAT, VP2M. Scott, NE9U and Ron, KK9K will be QRV as VP2MWA
and VP2MRF, respectively, from February 16 to 23. Activity will be
on the HF bands using CW, SSB and RTTY. This includes being entries
in the upcoming ARRL DX CW contest. QSL direct to home calls.
MEXICO, XE. Special event station 6D0F is QRV until February 18 in
celebration of the apostolic journey of his holiness Pope Francis.

LAOS, XW. Champ, E21EIC is QRV as XW1IC until February 16. This
includes an entry in the CQ World Wide RTTY WPX contest. QSL via
operator’s instructions. In addition, Bruce, 3W3B is QRV as XW4XR
from Vientiane until February 24. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters

MACEDONIA, Z3. Members of the Radioamateur Society of Macedonia are
QRV as Z34LOVE until February 21 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. QSL

Contest, PODXS 070 Club Valentine Sprint, Balkan HF Contest and the
Classic Phone Exchange will certainly keep contesters busy this
upcoming weekend.
The Phone Fray, AGCW 80-Meter Semi-Automatic Key Evening, CWops
Mini-CWT CW Test and QRP 40-Meter CW Fox Hunt are all scheduled for
February 17.
The ARRL National Parks on the Air event runs during all of 2016 to
mark the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
