ANTARCTICA, 8J. Members of the Japanese Antarctic Research
Expedition team (JARE) will be active as 8J1RL from Showa Research
Station, Queen Maud Land (AN-015), until January 2021. Listen for

CHILE, 3G2. Stay-At-Home station 3G2HOME is now QRV. Activity has

ISRAEL, 4X2. Isaac, 4Z1TL will activate Stay-At-Home station
4X2BESAFE until August 12. Activity will be on various HF bands.

JAMAICA, 6Y6. Nigel, 6Y5HN is supporting the COVID-19 Stay-At-Home

CHINA, B0-9. Members of the Chinese Radio Amateurs Club (CRAC) will
activate 10 special event call signs (B0CRA – B9CRA) across their
country to make QSOs with hams all over the world. Operations will
take place from May 1 to 7. QSL via BA1GG.

CANADA, CH2. Ian, VO2IR is active as CH2IR until June 20 to remind
everyone to Stay-At-Home. Activity is on various HF bands. QSL via

LEBANON, OD5/OD50. Members of the Radio Amateurs of Lebanon (RAL)
will activate special event call signs OD50SH and OD5STAYHOME to
spread awareness and Stay-At-Home as part of social distancing

BELARUS, EU. The following special event stations will take part in
the Pobeda-75 commemoration of the end of World War II: EV75B,
EV75F, EV75GK, EV75K, EV75M and EV75PG.

ENGLAND, G. Members of the RSGB Contest Club will put GB1945PE,
GB1945PJ and GB75PEACE on the air during May and August to mark
Victory in Europe and Victory in Japan Days. QSL only via LoTW and
eQSL. Also, The Royal Air Force Amateur Radio Society (RAFARS)
marks the end of World War II in Europe with the call sign GB75VED

ITALY, I. The ARI Fidenza Club (IQ4FE) will put a number of special
event stations on the air during 2020 to commemorate the life and
achievements of Guglielmo Marconi. During May, II4TEA commemorates

BULGARIA, LZ. The Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs (BFRA)
celebrates its 50th anniversary with the call sign LZ50BFRA until

AUSTRIA, OE. Alex, OE3DMA will be active with the call sign OE60IPA
on April 30 and May 1 for the 60th anniversary of the International

prefix RP75 will be active from Russia celebrating the end of World
War II.

AUSTRALIA, VK. Station VI250COOK commemorates Captain James Cook’s
voyage on HMS Endeavour along Australia’s east coast with activity

operating during its inaugural year in honor of World Pulmonary

CROATIA, 9A. Members of the Hrvatski radioamaterski Savez are
celebrating World Amateur Radio Day with special call sign 9A20WARD

ENGLAND, G. Members of the Bury Radio Society urge everyone to
“Wash Your Hands”. They are using the call sign GB9WYH until May 11

to 70 centimeters (including 60 and 4 meters) using CW, SSB

ANTARCTICA, RI1. Alexander, RX3ABI will be active as RI1ANM from
the Russian Mirny Station in Queen Mary Land, (AN-016), on the coast

MALDIVES, 8Q. Yusuke, JJ1DQR is planning to be active as 8Q7QR from
Male Island (AS-013) from September 4 to 8. Activity will be on
various HF bands using SSB and FT8. He will also be in the All

GUATEMALA, TG9. Dwight, VE7BV plans to be active as TG9BBV from

Philippine Amateur Radio Association for the duration of their

UNITED NATIONS, 4U. United Nations HQ station 4U1UN was reported on
F/H FT8 on 20 and 40 meters.

CANADA, VE. The Radio Amateurs of Canada will activate the
following special event calls for the World Amateur Radio Day on
April 18: VA2RAC, VA3RAC, VE1RAC, VE4RAC, VE5RAC, VE6RAC, VE7RAC,
VE8RAC, VE9RAC, VO1RAC, VO2RAC, VY0RAC, VY1RAC, and VY2RAC.

UGANDA, 5X. Shabu, M0KRI, ex-9U4RI, plans to be active as 5X1RI
sometime during the end of July to mid-August.

BELARUS, EW. Station EV75F commemorates the 75 years since the end

ENGLAND, G. Special call GB75PEACE will be used by RSGB members as
part of VE Day and VJ Day celebrations, May 1 to 31 and August 1 to

JAPAN, JA. 8J4ROSE is QRV to celebrate the Fukuyama Roses Festival

BRAZIL, PY. Gustavo, PT2ADM is QRV as ZW75FEB, commemorating the
end of World War II and honoring the memory of his father, who
fought in Italy as part of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force (FEB).

TURKEY, TA. Members of the YM3KB team mark Turkey’s National
Sovereignty and Children’s Day, April 23, with operations throughout

LUXEMBOURG, LX. Members of the Radioamateurs du Luxembourg (R.L.)
will be operating special event station LX5WARD for the 2020 World
Amateur Radio Day, until April 26. Special QSLs will be available

GUERNSEY, GU75. The Guernsey Amateur Radio Society (GARS) will be
running a special event station from May 6 to 12 to mark the 75th
anniversary of the Liberation of Guernsey from Occupying Forces.

modes, QO100, and possibly some 2 meter and 70cm activity as well.
